Why do people like me become defensive at times?
We do not have a faith in Jesus or any other invisible creature. Yet we strive to maintain a faith in life and belief in people. We wake up each day and hope that we will have the courage to bravely face another day, surviving in this mad world, while still finding the time to be kind to those we meet.
We do not do this to please Jesus or gain a reward. We do it because we are decent people. Jesus can get his brownie points elsewhere. We have no saviour to lean on. No Holy spirit to give us strength. No hope of living forever. We know only one thing; that we will die.
It takes faith to live like that and I defend that faith.

Respect for a person's beliefs are a two way thing. I respect the beliefs of Christians like Tammy(Tec). Christians like Psacremento & AGuest do not seek just to share their views and feeling but seek to dominate discussion, using fabrication and duplicity.
They do no harm to me as I am not trying to win people over to Christianity. But if I were a Christian on this forum, I would pray to God that they stopped spewing out such contradictory drivel in the name of Christianity. It make other Christians look less credible than they otherwise would.
You see Psacremento, you are not on your own path but have chosen to walk a path with other Christians. They may actually care what you say in the name of Christ on this forum.

You talk endlessly about Christ and stamp the Christian brand on anything that you perceive as good or decent.
You explain Christ in the minutest detail and claim a personal relationship with him. A relationship so intimate that it makes the Bible unnecessary, while continuously quoting from the Bible to support your views.
